We collected a variety of shells during visits to Sanibel Island, FL, from about 2000 to 2006. These unidentified tan spiral shells were collected from one of the Sanibel Island beaches during that time.
The wrapped stainless steel loop on each shell is secured by epoxy as the wire extends into the shell, matching the inside shell curvature. Each shell is suspended from a stainless steel earwire. The shells are natural materials with wear associated with beach tumbling.
The images are of the actual item for sale.
